I wanted to share with you my reading list of four thrillers I can’t wait to read in 2019. The books range from authors I have read, but would love to discover and several old-time favorites whose work I admire.

A Spy in Exile by Jonathan de Shalit, Available on Feb. 5, 2019. I haven’t read Shalit before, but A Spy in Exile sounds promising so I plan on reading the book come Feb 5. A bad ass female spy working inside the Mossad who takes down deadly enemies, yes please. I’m here for this party. Ya’ara Stein is out of Israel’s intelligence agency and is tasked to head a super secret unit, where she’s going to train the next generation of spies. The cadets are up against the lethal militant Red Army Faction who are on a killing spree across Europe. No denying, I’m into it.

The Border by Don Winslow Available on Feb. 26, 2019 – New York Times Bestselling author, Don Winslow is at it again with his character Art Keller. In The Border, Keller, has climbed the ranks of the DEA and discovers that’s the windiest at the top. America is being ravaged by the heroin drug addiction. He’s destroyed one monster, but more are coming. Surrounded by powerful enemies who want him dead, Keller must pull the mask of the people who are behind poising Americans with drugs. I can’t wait to read The Border. Winslow is an outstanding writer.

Wolf Pack by C.J. Box (A Joe Pickett Novel)/March 12, 2019 – Last year I was obsessed with Paramount’s Yellowstone, a cowboy drama, produced by Kevin Costner, taking place in the picturesque hills of Wyoming. If you haven’t seen the show yet, I highly recommended. And since, I’m stuck on the cowboy thriller/mystery genre than I’m looking forward to reading the new Joe Pickett novel by C.J.Box, a Wyoming cowboy himself with an impressive writing repertoire. In the latest book, Pickett is faced with a drone that belongs to a wealthy man, killing wildlife. The mysterious man own son is dating Pickett’s daughter. It’s a tangled tale of murder, lust and violence.

Redemption (Amos Decker Book 5) by David Baldacci Available on April 16, 2019 – I’m a big Baldacci fan. His books have inspired me, intrigued me and persuaded me to keep buying what he writes. I particularly like the Amos Decker series and every year I wait to get the new book when it comes out. In 2019, Baldacci is releasing Redemption, which will take us to Amos’ childhood home of Burlington, Ohio, where he will meet a criminal he put away when Amos was a younger version of himself. The now terminally ill murder has always maintained that the police got the wrong man and that he’s innocent. Decker will reexamine the case he worked those years ago and discover he might have made a serious mistake that have cost an innocent man’s life. I’m hooked.
