May is a day away, which means a new batch of thrillers and true crime books is about to drop. I think this month is shaping up to be exciting for book lovers. The below books are the ones I am currently reading or on my to read list. Which book in May you can’t wait to read?

By the way I organized the list in order of publication date, in case you were wondering.

The Killer Across The Table by John E. Douglas, Mark Olshaker. In May we will have the chance to read the latest from the world renowned FBI profiler and NYT best selling author’s a book that delves into the lives and crimes of four complex and notorious serial killers. Douglas was the inspiration behind Netflix’s Mindhunter (amazing show if you haven’t seen it yet – binge watch it!). The Killer Across From Me, a true crime, will be published on May 7, 2019.

My summer TBR pile is already daunting but I had to add a few recommendations from this list. I am a big fan of thrillers so I’m excited to read “The Killer Across the Table” – thanks again. I have a book I just recently finished that I can’t stop talking about called “Countdown America” by MC Fox (https://mcfoxauthor.com/). I enjoyed reading this so much because it is a suspenseful and heart pounding read that features a fierce and inspiring female lead! Isabella is not only trying to save the US from a terrorist attack but she has to save her family too. There are so many layers to this book as well as plot twists you don’t see coming. I usually give a novel a high rating if it makes me read until I can’t keep my eyes open anymore and this one did that! I hope you will check it out!
