May is a day away, which means a new batch of thrillers and true crime books is about to drop. I think this month is shaping up to be exciting for book lovers. The below books are the ones I am currently reading or on my to read list. Which book in May you can’t wait to read?

The Killer Across The Table by John E. DouglasMark Olshaker. In May we will have the chance to read the latest from the world renowned FBI profiler and NYT best selling author’s a book that delves into the lives and crimes of four complex and notorious serial killers. Douglas was the inspiration behind Netflix’s Mindhunter (amazing show if you haven’t seen it yet – binge watch it!). The Killer Across From Me, a true crime, will be published on May 7, 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

The Never Game by Jeffrey Deaver – Colton Shaw is a reward money seeker who travels around the country to assist police departments and private citizens locating missing persons. When he agrees to help locate a missing college student in Silicon Valley, he doesn’t expect to be thrust into the dark world of the uber rich. While working the case, a second kidnapping happens. That victim turns up dead. Could the man behind the video game ‘The Never Game’ be responsible for the murder? We get to find out on May 14, 2019.

 

 

 

 

The Night Window by Dean Koontz – Book 5 and the last book in the Jane Hawk series is coming out on May 14, 2019. Ex-agent Jane Hawk has been on an extraordinary journey that is coming to an end. Tom Clancy’s Op-Center: The Sting of the Wasp by Jeff Rovin – an explosion rips across the flight deck of the USS Intrepid, killing innocent people. The main suspect is Captain Ahmed Salehi. Unbeknownst to him and America’s enemies, director Chase Williams, is put in charge of a brand-new, top-secret covert team, called the Black Wasp. The team has been tasked to find Salehi and to finally bring him to justice. The Sting of the Wasp is out on May 28, 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

And an honorable mention goes to The Lazarus Files by Matthew McGough, whose book is out on April 30, 2019. I had the chance to read the book and I think it’s riveting.
