March — you leaving us? So soon? I can’t believe it. Time flies by especially when you’re reading good books. And this month, every book was a winner. I focused on reading one book a week and I hit my goal. Yay me! But don’t celebrate me, celebrate the great selection of books below. Have you read any of them yet or all? What were your thoughts? My Money My Way By Kumiko Love
If you are serious about finally budgeting and saving money than you sure want to read Love’s new book. It’s five stars for a reason. I loved her down to earth, non preachy way of explaining the Budget By Paycheck budgeting system.
The Best American Mystery Stories
As a crime writer I’m always reading the next crime book or hunting to get my hands on the next great crime book. Recently, I popped in Harvard Square Book Store, btw, if you haven’t been, it’s worth the trip to Boston. There, I stumbled on this fine book of short mystery stories and I loved them. The introduction was authored by the great C.J. Box.
I Know A Secret by Tess Gerritsen
If you were back in the day fan of Rizzoli and Isles, the most amazing show on TV, then you’ve come across Gerritsen’s books. In March I picked up I Know A Secret. It was a page turner and by far my favorite book of the March bunch.
Thick As Thieves By Sandra Brown
The last book I read in March was Thick as Thieves by the Queen herself Sandra Brown. Over nine thousand people on Amazon gave this mystery a five star review and I’m the nine thousand and one. I love the slow build up plot, the love connection and how easy it was to read. It didn’t require me to flip back and re read because I got boggled down in overly complicate plot twists. It was straight forward mystery and I’m here for it.
And that’s a wrap boys and girls! I’m ready for nicer weather. I can’t wait to be sitting in my garden, cup of coffee near by and a good book. What are your currently reading?
