June is all about Dad — the strong, funny, loving fathers, who always have a shoulder we can lean on. Yes, I’m talking about those dads! My husband is exactly the guy I’m describing. He can play for hours with our children, listen to their never-ending stories, build things out of nothing, go hiking, swimming, biking. You name it, he’s going to do it if our children ask him to. And I love watching him and the kids together. So, on June 19th, I planned on spoiling him big time. He’s totally worth it. Read on to see my big Father’s Day plans. Every year I ask my husband what…

Top Four Beach Reads To Keep The Heat On This Summer
Goodbye Spring and a marvelous hello to Summer aka my favorite season. If I could spend my entire life hunkered down on a beach somewhere far far away and all I had was copious amounts of books, I won’t complain. But since that’s not an option, I go for Plan B — a family getaway to Florida. The sunshine state has been a favorite vacation spot for us since I can remember. Every year, around the same time, we pack our suitcases and fly off to Florida. This year was no exception for us. How to Grow Your Web Traffic
As a modern-day writer is no longer enough to write a book and hope you’ll make it big. Writers have to be savvy in ways to self promote, spread the word and brand themselves. It’s a daunting task, I understand, but the good news is that you’re not alone in this journey.

Magic happens when your fingers start blazing over the keyboard, typing away words, drafting sentences, paragraph after paragraph. The first chapter of your Act One is finished and you feel like you’ve climbed a small hill, headed for the top of the mounting. You should be proud of this act of bravery, but then you give your First Chapter a read-through and you realize that you could have done a better job. Writers, after all, are some of the some self-criticizing creatures, dissecting and examining each word until their head spins and they’re ready to give up!

My Must Read Book List
In celebration of #Fridayreads on Twitter, I wanted to share with you some of the books that are near and dear to my heart. I’ve read each book more than once and I keep a copy in my library to revisit now and again. The books in this list are in no particular order because I found it impossible to narrow down which one is my most favorite. If I ended up on an island somewhere and if I was told to bring only three books – I would argue that I need to bring them all with me!

Walking round the aisles of my local bookstore, I stumbled on several good books I’m currently reading in between feverishly editing my second book.
